Sara Schwartz LMSW has come to The Place from sunny Los Angeles, California. She received her Bachelors in Psychology from Thomas Edison State University and a Masters in Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work | Yeshiva University. After obtaining her Bachelors, Sara began working with children and adolescents in both the classroom and individual settings. Her experience working with youth who were struggling is what inspired her to pursue her education at Wurzweiler where she would be able to strengthen her capability to provide the help they needed.

Having taken many trainings including case management with Cancer Patients, CRAFT, Play Therapy, and Group Therapy her expertise runs the gamut.

Sara is trained in family therapy, with a focus on divorce and loss, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and narrative approaches and customizes her intervention to the needs of her clients.

“I believe that each person is a whole universe – with their own biopsychosocial makeup, history, relationships, and goals. I believe that each person is unique and I work with my clients to reach the emotional, social or behavioral goals they aim toward.”
