Rachel Freedman LMSW earned her master’s degree at Wurzweiler School of Social Work and is licensed in the state of New York. She earned the Mu Omega Pi Alpha Honor Society award while achieving her BSW at Roberts Wesleyan College.

Rachel has and continues to see success when working with children, teens, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Some modalities she utilizes to help her clients are sand tray therapy, art therapy, psychotherapy, CBT, DBT, SFT, and EFT. While in the U.S., Rachel worked at The Center for Safety and Change, an agency that helps victims of domestic violence and sexual trauma. Crisis intervention, trauma response, and safety planning were interventions Rachel used daily to assist her clients. At this agency, Rachel earned her certificate as a rape crisis counselor which gives her the tools and credibility to help victims of sexual trauma. Other positions Rachel held while living in the United States were a groups therapy facilitator, a case manager, and a teacher in a local girl’s school.

Today, Rachel assists people who struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues and more. She helps her clients develop a healthy self-esteem and an inner motivation to create positive changes in their lives. Rachel aids her clients in forming wholesome relationships with those around them. She also guides parents who are seeking parental guidance. Rachel’s intuitive nature enables her to attend to each client’s needs and help them develop the tools to conquer their specific challenges. 

Some personal attributes Rachel brings to session is genuine care, sympathy, open-mindedness, critical thinking, and an emphasis on achieving goals. Rachel has a deep desire to help those in need. Her enthusiastic and creative nature enables her clients to see the light during challenging times.
