Miriam Fuchs is a social worker in Jerusalem, who is passionate about empowering children, teens, and adults as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. Her warm and empathic approach helps clients feel seen, heard, and supported.

Miriam has experience working with a variety of populations, including individuals with developmental delays, children experiencing behavioral and emotional difficulties, and teens navigating life transitions, family stress, and mental health challenges.
Miriam draws from a broad base of practical experience, having interned in diverse clinical and educational settings. At the Hinda Institute, based in Des Plaines, Illinois, she supported families affected by incarceration through advocacy, group work, and resource development. At Orot Hatorah/MMJ Seminary in Jerusalem, and Haftr Lower School in Lawrence, NY, Miriam worked directly with students, conducting individual and group sessions, social-emotional learning (SEL) lessons, and collaborating closely with parents and teachers to promote student well-being.

Miriam holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of Mount Saint Vincent and has completed her Master of Social Work through the TTI/Daemen University program. She is trained in mandated reporting and suicide prevention and continues to deepen her clinical skills through supervised fieldwork and ongoing professional development.

Miriam believes in the healing power of connection and approaches her work with compassion, curiosity, and cultural sensitivity. She feels honored to accompany her clients on their unique journeys toward growth and resilience. Miriam believes that connection and empathy is key to building a beautiful social worker/ client relationship.
