Lena Shore
B.Sc., B.Ed., M.Sc., Coordinator

Lena has been practicing psychotherapy for two decades. She brings to each session wisdom and experience. Lena knows that coming to therapy can be scary. She also knows that therapy can be so rewarding. She salutes her clients’ courage to walk in through the door of her therapy room. Once inside, she and her clients work together. The work might include the healing of past traumas; the grief of what to is today; the ability to gain new insight and a different perspective. The work is as unique as the client. Flexible and creative with many tools at her disposal, Lena’s sessions are tailor-made for each of her clients.

The strength of the therapeutic relationship is so important to Lena. While she has many skills and has attended numerous trainings, it is Lena’s ability to approach a person with an open, curious, empathetic stance that creates safety. And in this safe, non-threatening environment real change and healing can occur for any client who comes to see Lena.

Lena enjoys working with all her clients. She guides couples to develop healthier and satisfying emotional and physical relationships. Lena helps her clients overcome emotional eating.
