"Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength.” — Sigmund Freud
Ella Benzaquen
MBACP

Ella is a compassionate therapist who helps people make sense of difficult experiences, with a particular focus on understanding patterns in relationships and the places where clients feel stuck. She works with those navigating emotional pain, life transitions, or a sense of disconnection from themselves.

Her approach is gentle, thoughtful, and collaborative. Ella places importance on working at a pace that feels manageable, creating space for reflection without pressure. Through reflection and conversation she helps clients build insight, feel more grounded, and find their way through the challenges they are facing in a way that feels right for them.

At the core of her work is a strong belief that every person already holds the capacity for growth and transformation within them. Her role is to gently guide and support clients, helping them develop the tools and confidence to uncover their own answers and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. Clients often say they feel calmer and more understood in her presence.

Ella has experience working with both teenagers and adults, and is comfortable supporting clients through complex or crisis periods. She trained at The Path Centre where she developed a strong foundation in therapeutic theory alongside practical ways of working. During her internship at The Place, she worked with a diverse range of clients, helping each person navigate challenges in a way that felt tailored to their needs. Ella has completed a rigorous professional training pathway and is now a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), working in accordance with its standards.

Ella understands that starting therapy can feel daunting, and at times overwhelming. She works collaboratively with each client to shape a process that feels supportive and personal, helping them move forward in a way that feels manageable and meaningful.
