Dov Moshe Litwin is a licensed practitioner who has over 30 years experience in the field of Social Work. He received his Masters in 1992 from Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work in New York and his certificate in Family Therapy and Counseling in 2008 from the Family Institute at Neve Yerushalayim in Jerusalem, Israel. In 2013 -2015, Dov received intensive training in the treatment of Child Sexual Abuse through The Haruv Institute in Israel, and in 2015, was trained by the Israel Association of Psychotherapy in the “SEE FAR CBT” method for treating trauma.
Dov has been a senior therapist for many years at Kav L’Noar, an organization addressing the issues confronting adolescents and their families, until 20’21. As well, he was selected to join and be trained in the Charedi division of Meytal-Bayit Lechol Yeled in Israel, in order to treat the sexually abused children of the community, and their families. His trauma training included working with various modalities.
Dov’s reputation and quality work generated colleges to pursue him to take positions as Supervisor for their Master program students. Through coursework in Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel, Dov received his official Supervisors accreditation in 2019. Dov currently supervises the students that are doing their Master level field work placements at The Place, as well as supervising The Place’s interns that come through The Place’s Clinical Internship Program.
Dov’s broad 30 years’ experience has earned him the appellation as specialist in Marital issues, Individual Male issues, Young Adults, Adolescents, Children, and Family Dynamic issues.
