This workshop is designed to support Olim who have families to navigate Aliyah and the emotional aspects of integration  in to Israeli society. Apart from the excitement and dream-fulfilling satisfaction of moving your family to Israel, there are many challenges that any immigration or big life changes bring. There is a period of adjustment, not only for you but also your children.

In this workshop, we will be addressing issues that will help prepare Olim for many of these challenges, including the initial feeling of surviving, towards feeling empowered and thriving.

We will cover: the stages of Culture Shock; understanding and managing cultural differences; the impact of major adjustments on you, your family and emotional health; common behavioral patterns in immigrant children/families; tools to help you understand and manage challenging behaviors in your kids; protective factors you can do to promote healthy adjustment; resources you can access; Navigating the Israeli School system for Olim Children and their unique learning needs.

Finally, the workshop is a great opportunity to get connected with other Olim parents and professionals who can support you and your family with your Aliyah process.
