Rabbi Dov Moshe Litwin, M.S.W., J.D.

Dov Moshe Litwin has over 20 years experience in the field of Social Work. He received his Masters in 1992 from Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiller school of Social Work in New York and his certificate in Family therapy and Counseling in 2008 from the Family Institute at Neve Yerushalayim in Jerusalem, Israel. Dov specialized his training extensively with adolescent American yeshiva population in Israel devoting his passion and skills to formulating a comprehensive therapeutic skills to formulating a comprehensive therapeutic approach to address the myriad of issues confronting today’s American adolescents.

In addition to his training in the therapeutic and counseling world. Dov has developed a well rounded profile with a vast array of educational and work experiences including his Juris Doctor law degree from Yeshiva University’s Cardozo School of Law, his experiences as Director of Operations for a successful Pharmaceutical company, investment Broker’s License, liberal arts undergraduate background, artistic talents as a musician and composer including the release of his music CD and his twenty years of learning, teaching, counseling at Yeshivas Chofetz Chaim in Jerusalem. Currently making his impact at Yeshivas Aderes HaTorah in Jerusalem, Dov’s strength and success resides in his exceptional ability to understand his clients and to bring them to health, functionality and productivity.

Dov’s awards include the Nation Dean’s List, Bar Ilan University’s award of Excellence and the Kesten Overseas Fellowship Award for excellence in Jewish communal service. His articles on various family therapy topics have appeared in Horizon Magazine, Targum Press.

In addition to The Place, Dov currently works for Kav L’Noar an organization that addresses the issues confronting adolescents and their families.
