Yonasan’s a graduate of Hebrew University’s School of Social Work and Social Welfare. He completed post graduate training in a wide array of therapeutic approaches. He studied CBT at The Beck Institute, emotion focused therapy, and psychodynamic theory. He is trained in DBT, ACT, and Gottman’s marital therapy. Before Hebrew University, he studied philosophy and ethics at Drake and Washington University in St. Louis. He also received his rabbinic ordination from Rav Yitzchak Berkowitz.
 
Yonasan is a member of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science. He’s a key member of the clinical team at The Place, the Jerusalem Centre for Emotional Wellbeing. Yonasan has collaborated with Machon Dvir as a Dialectical Behavioral Therapist skills trainer. He’s also a group leader for the Family Connections program. Family Connections helps families learn how to cope with loved ones with anger and personality disorders.
 
He specializes in treating anxiety, depression, anger, poor self-esteem, insomnia, autism, eating disorders, psychosis, problems in parenting, sexual dysfunction, and marital conflict. He has an extensive background working with individuals, couples, families, and children.
