Sharni is a warm, supportive therapist. She believes in giving her clients the empathetic space to discover inner strengths. It’s this strength that allows a person to access their own solutions. Sharni has extensive experience treating mental health disorders, prevention, and making lasting change. Her popular workshop “Rewiring Children for Success” reveals her passion for enabling children to blossom.

Sharni is an Australian licensed psychologist. She specializes in transitions, aliyah/immigration, anxiety disorders, OCD, and developmental trauma. She has over 16 years of experience in community health and private practice. In addition to her bachelor’s in psychology (Hons) at the University of NSW she has a master’s in psychotherapy from the University of Sydney. She uses a psycho-dynamic approach to psychotherapy.
Sharni runs seminars and group interventions, as well as one to one psychotherapy. She works with the AACI lecturing on culture shock and the stages of aliyah. She also treats PTSD associated with terrorism.
 
Sharni offers a safe framework to cope, process, and integrate the effects of the pain in their life. Sharni’s top priority is to bring about an enhanced quality of life and lasting change.
